Q4 2020 Performance of Top Puzzle/Riddle Games on iOS in Latin America

Puzzle and riddle games have always been a staple for those looking to challenge their minds, and the last quarter of 2020 was no different for iOS users in Latin America. Sensor Tower provides us with the data to delve into the trends of the top five games in this category.

Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles by UNICO STUDIO saw a notable increase in downloads, from 23K in late September to over 44K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, growing from 170K to 189K in the same period. Revenue also peaked at the year's end at nearly $600.

Brain Test 2: Tricky Stories, another UNICO STUDIO creation, experienced a slight decrease in downloads from 12K to 11K in early Q4, but bounced back to over 11K by December. The active user base dipped in October but recovered to over 35K by the close of 2020.

The quirky Brain Out -Tricky riddle games from EYEWIND LIMITED also enjoyed a surge in interest with downloads spiking from 11K to 17K and active users increasing from 40K to 45K throughout the quarter. Revenue saw a modest rise, ending the year at $171.

SayGames LTD's DOP: Draw One Part witnessed a fluctuation in downloads, starting at 9K and then peaking at 11K before settling at approximately 8K in December. Active users showed a downward trend initially before climbing back up to over 18K.

Lastly, the newcomer Who is? Brain Teaser & Riddles, also from UNICO STUDIO, had a remarkable Q4. Starting with a modest 599 downloads in the last week of September, it shot up to a massive 37K in the first week of October. Active users peaked at nearly 50K in mid-October, with a slight decrease towards the end of the year.
